A grand and striking Empire-style center table crafted in gilt bronze and richly inlaid malachite. The circular top is beautifully veneered with vibrant malachite and encircled by a finely cast gilt bronze border. Below, a frieze adorned with alternating rosettes and anthemia adds classical elegance. The table is supported by three dramatic winged gryphons—mythical creatures with the head, wings, and forequarters of an eagle and the body of a lion—each with a foliate lower body, standing gracefully on a single paw. The figures are connected by a decorative stretcher and rest upon a malachite-inlaid circular base, completing this magnificent and opulent showpiece.
